Use children's books. Translate the story into action words which
describe movement. Have the children write their own chants to accompany
books they've read into creative movement
activities. The following chant was developed from the book, Bubble,
Bubble by Mercer Mayer. Read the children the book. Act out
motions while choral reading the chant.
